1-2 tbsp canola oil
1 med onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves,chopped
1 tsp chili powder, to taste
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
2-3 lbs ground turkey or chicken
1/2 can of beer
1 jar Mrs. Renfro's green jalapeņo salsa
1 jar of Sofrito, made by Goya
3-4 cans of white beans
1-2 packets of Sazon, spice by Goya
chicken bouillon to taste
1/4 bundle of cilantro

Directions:

Cover the bottom of a stock pot with canola oil and begin to warm on medium heat. Saute the onion until it begins to wilt. Then add the garlic.
Add chili, cumin, and oregano and continue to saute until the onion becomes transparent.
Add poultry and cook until barely pink.
Add the beer. continue cooking a few minutes to cook of the alcohol.
Add the salsa, Sofrito, beans INCLUDING LIQUID
Season with Sazon, followed by the chicken bouillon
Add cilantro
Reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes(the longer it simmers the better it gets)

This is my favorite chili recipe EVER. It makes a ton, so make sure to use a huge pot!
It can come out a little watery sometimes so adding the liquid from the beans helps thicken it up. Then simmering on low heat with the lid off, or slightly ajar will cook off the rest. Sometimes I add black beans. You don't have to use cilantro either, if people dislike it. If you love cilantro then put some fresh on top when serving it.
