1 c Karo dark corn syrup
3 eggs
1 c sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 c (6 oz) pecan halves
1 9 inch Pillsbury deep dish pie crust

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Pre-heat oven to 350º. Stir corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla thoroughly. Mix in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake on center rack for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool for 2 hours. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
