2 T. sugar
3 T. Cider Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 medium sweet onion, sliced thinly
1 head red leaf lettuce
5 strips of bacon
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Directions:
Directions:
Dice bacon and fry over medium heat in a small skillet. Wash lettuce and dry. Cut into bite size pieces and add to salad bowl. Layer onions on top of lettuce. When bacon is browned pour bacon bits and bacon fat on the onions. Wisk together the mustard, vinegar and sugar. Pour over lettuce and mix thoroughly.
