Ham bone and leftovers, including Skin
4 carrots; 2 cut in half, and two chopped
Two stalks of celery cut in half
1 medium sweet onion
1 teaspoon peppercorns
1 bag of navy or other white bean
Water
Vegetable Stock

Directions:
Directions:
Use a spaghetti pot with the strainer insert and place the ham, skin, 2 carrots, 2 stalks of celery cut in half, the onion quartered and the peppercorns. Cover with water or vegetable stock and boil until the meat falls off the bone. Remove strainer and ingredients to cool. Add beans and chopped carrots to the pot and simmer until the beans break open. Remove ham from bone and discard bone and skin. Chop remaining ham into small pieces and add to pot. Salt and pepper to taste.
