Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 cups flour
2 large eggs
2/3 cups sugar
2 tsp. anise or vanilla extract
2 heaping tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup Wesson Canola oil
¼ cup milk (or 1/3 cup milk)

Directions:
Directions:
In blender, mix together eggs, extract, oil and milk.

Then add to flour, baking powder, and sugar.

Knead dough. If the dough is too dry add a little milk at a time. If too wet, add a little more flour.

In small amounts, roll out the dough into the thickness and shape of a rope. But about a 3 inch piece, and shape it into a C, J, a knot or whatever you like. Put on a sprayed baking pan.

Bake at 340 degrees, in the middle of the oven, for about 12 to 15 minutes.

Personal Notes:
These cookies are a Minnena and Acquafredda family favorite. We all love to make them at Christmas time. Aunt Mary Ciccosillo makes them the best. Lucia's Grandma Anna always loved to receive a tin full of these cookies from New Jersey, because she loved to share them with all of her guests. They truly are a cookie that brings the family together
