Dry ingredients:
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cream of tarter
3 T sugar
Other ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
Finishing ingredients
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 T cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk all at once and stir until dough follows fork around bowl. Turn onto floured board and knead gently for 30 seconds. Roll dough 1/4 inch thick. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon mixture. Cut into two inch strips. Stack strips five high. Cut the stacked strips into two inch pieces and place 'cut side down' in greased muffin pan. Bake in hot oven at 425 degrees for 12 minutes or more.
