2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3-4 cups flour
1 cup butter (softened)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
In one bowl, beat eggs, add sugar gradually, add vanilla. In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add softened butter,mix till crumbly (like pie crust dough). Add egg mixture to flour mixture. Mix well. Roll on floured board and cut with cookie cutters. DO NOT REFRIGERATE DOUGH. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350°

I like this recipe because you do not have to chill the dough. When mixing in the flour mixture only use 3 cups flour and then if dough isn't crumbly enough just add a little more flour.
