3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups butter
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs, beaten
4 TBSP milk
4 tsp vanilla
5 cups oat meal
4 cups chocolate chips semi sweet

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375º. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Cream sugars, butter; add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients gradually in small batches. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Bake 10 -12 minutes, cool for 2 minutes then remove pan to rack.

I use half butter flavored Crisco and half margarine. These freeze great and ship easily to your favorite Marine.
