1 1/2 lbs plum tomatoes,halved,seeded and chopped
1/3 cup chopped basil leaves
1 tbsp. chopped garlic
1 tbsp. chopped fresh oregano leaves
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
4 oz. feta cheese, crumbled

TOASTS:
24 inch loaf of crusty French bread
2 garlic cloves chopped
1/4 Cup extra virgin olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 8 ingredients in bowl, and season with salt and pepper to taste.(this can be prepared 2 hours ahead). Let stand at room temperature.

TOASTS: Slice bread into 1/2 inch thick slices. Toast slices (on a cookie sheet) on a rack set about 4 inches from broiler for about 1-1 1/2 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crisp on outside, but still soft on inside. Rub toast with garlic on one side and brush lightly with olive oil on same side.

Serve tomato mixture in a bowl surrounded by toasts. Guests spoon mixture on toast and enjoy! (a slotted spoon is handy for serving). Serve at room temperature. Makes about 40 toasts
