2 cups cooked yellow squash, drained
1 cup shredded mild yellow cheese
2 slices bread (or cornbread), cut-into cubes
1 cup scalded milk
1/2 stick butter, melted in the milk
1 T chopped parsley
1 T chopped pimento
1 T grated onion
2 beaten eggs
1 dash of nutmeg
salt, pepper and/or seasoned salt to taste

Put all ingredients in a 1-1/2 quart casserole.
Bake at 350º F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
