1 C white Sugar
1 C Brown Sugar
1 C Butter
1 C Peanut Butter
2 Eggs
1 T Baking Powder
1 Scant tsp Soda
3 C flour
Dash of Salt

Mix well and roll into rolls, cut and bake. This is how Grandma Eldredge made them.

We like to drop spoonfuls of dough onto the cookie sheet. With fork dipped in powdered sugar, flatten in crisscross pattern. Bake at 375º for 9 minutes.

One day while visiting Grandma Eldredge, I told her that the thing I remembered most about our visits to her home was the peanut butter cookies. I asked her if I could have the recipe and she gladly made a copy for me. I love my Grandma Melba Eldredge. LaNae
