3 lbs. yellow summer squash
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 stick butter
1/2 cup cracker meal or bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and cut up squash, boil until tender; drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients except 1/2 of butter to squash. Melt remaining butter. Pour mixture in baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with cracker meal or bread crumbs. Bake in 375º oven for approximately one hour or until brown on top.
