1 lb. beef stew meat (or beef tips or kabob pieces - get what's on sale!)
1 can Campbell's french onion soup
1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup (with roasted garlic, if you can find it)
1 cup sliced baby bella mushrooms
1 small shallot, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup sour cream (optional)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in crock pot and cook 6 hours on low or 3 to 4 on high. For a creamy, stroganoff type flavor, stir in sour cream 5 minutes before serving. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
