8 ounces dry macaroni (a little more than 2 cups)
4 Tbsp butter
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 small minced onion
1 Tbsp flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Boil macaroni according to package directions and drain. Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 2-quart casserole. Melt HALF of the butter and add the breadcrumbs, and toss to coat. Meanwhile make cheese sauce: In medium pan over medium heat, melt the remaining butter, add onion and cook till tender; stir in flour, salt, mustard, and pepper till blended and cook one min. Gradually stir in milk; cook till mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Remove saucepan from heat, stir in cheese till melted. Place drained macaroni and sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake 20 minutes or till bubbly and crumbs are golden.
