Gramma's Honey Pecan Pie Recipe

4 eggs 1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 T melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Topping:

3 T butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3 T honey
1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in a large bowl first 8 ingredients. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. In the meantime, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar and honey until combined. Stir in pecan halves until coated. Spoon over baked pie and bake 15 - 20 minutes longer until bubbly and golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Should there be leftovers, store in fridge.
