Double pie crust, uncooked.

5 large apples

1 cup crushed pineapple, unsweetened, drained

1/4 cup cinnamon drops (red candies)

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pie dough, line nine-inch pie plate.

Peel large apples, slice, place in bowl, add pineapple, cinnamon drops, lemon juice, sugar, flour and salt. Mix well and put in pie crust.

Place dots of butter on top of apple mixture, put on top crust. Pinch edges, slit top crust to ventilate. Put baking dish or cookie sheet under pan to catch drippings.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
