2 lb. pork shoulder, cut in cubes
2 T shortening
1 C onion, minced
1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper
2 T paprika
1 1/2 - 2 C boiling water
3 C sauerkraut
1 C sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in shortening, in fry pan.
Add pork & saute for about 10-min. Add seasonings, stir well. Add enough water to barely cover meat. Drain sauerkraut from jar & arrange over meat. Cover & simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Fold in sour cream, bring to boil and simmer 16 min. to blend flavors.
