1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. corn oil
2 eggs
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. molasses
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. bran flakes
1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. dates
1/3 c. walnuts
1/4 c. sunflower seeds

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º
In a medium bowl, mix together the buttermilk, corn oil, and eggs.
Stir in the honey and molasses.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, bran flakes, and oats.
Stir in the raisins, dates, walnuts, and sunflower seeds.
Combine the buttermilk mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until blended.
Fill greased muffin tins three fourths full.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a tester inserted into muffin comes out clean.
Makes two dozen muffins
