3/4 cups of flour

Preheat oven for biscuits recipe

In a large skillet or pot, brown sausage until thoroughly browned. Do NOT drain off grease.
On medium heat add flour and thoroughly blend into meat. Add milk and stir continuously on medium heat until a nice thick gravy is made.

In the meantime, cook biscuits according to instructions.

I usually put the biscuits in when the meat is browned, so both parts will be done at the same time.

Personal Notes:
Practice makes perfect. I learned how to make this 18 years ago and make it at least once a month for a special Sunday brunch. Most restaurant's make horrible biscuits and gravy, but the hospital I worked at had really good home-style cooked biscuits and gravy. Mine is even better.
