2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. finely grated orange peel
1 1/2 c. sweetened coconut flake
1 1/2 c. finely chopped macadamias nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar and softened butter until creamy.
Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to butter mixture 1 cup at a time, mix until smooth. Finally add orange peel,coconut, and macadamias nuts. Drop unto cookie sheets to form 1 inch balls and place in 350 degree preheated oven.Bake until very light golden( they may appear undercooked ) 8-11 min and slide off cookie sheet using spatula. Allow to cool before placing in cookie tins
