Directions:
Dissolve yeast, 2 T sugar and 1 cup warm water. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat milk in microwave, add water, sugar, oil and salt. Stir and cool until just warm. Beat yeast and 12 grain flour, whole wheat flour and 2 cups white flour into warm milk mixture. beat for 2 minutes with electric mixer. Add rest of flour until you have a soft dough. Grease pan, punch dough and turn over. Grease top, cover and let rise inn a warm place, no drafts, until doubled. Punch down and let rise again. Roll on greased countertop as if you were making cinnamon buns. Spread with soft marg and lots of sharp grated cheese (not the packages of grated cheese). Now inst4ad of rolling up jelly roll fashion, you will cut your dough into long rectangles and then into rectangles again so you have a piece of cheese covered dough about 3 x 4 inches. Roll up, place seam side down on greased cookie sheets or parchment lined sheets. Let rise again, usually when you have finished rolling and cutting all the dough, the first pans are ready to bake. Bake at 350º for 25 - 30 minutes until desired brown.
