2 pounds of ground beef
1/2 onion
salt, pepper
2 - 12 oz cans regular green beans
1/2 pound of mild chedder or colby cheese, grated
2 - 12 oz cans tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion then drain grease off.
Add tomato sauce, and salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to a boil with water added until a nice consistency is made.

In a large deep caserole dish, place meat mixture in, and add green beans, and mix and stir.
Take leftover mashed potatoes and place on top of mixture. Top with grated cheese.

Bake 30 minutes to one hour in a 350 degree preheated oven until potatoes are hot and cheese is melted.

For smaller groups, just reduce everything by 1/2. We were raised in a family of 7, so we had to cook on a big scale.
