1 cup sugar
½ cup oil
2 eggs
1 ½ tsp dried orange peel
1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup white flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp mace
¼ tsp ginger
1 cup grated zucchini
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ tsp vanilla
Powdered sugar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat sugar, oil, eggs, and orange peel together.
Add sifted dry ingredients and then zucchini.
Beat well and then stir in nuts and vanilla
Pour into greased 9” x 5” loaf pan.
Bake at 375 degrees 50-55 minutes or until done and toothpick comes out clean. Watch to make sure it doesn't’t burn.
Cool 15 minutes. Can sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve plain.
