2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
2 T. cocoa powder
1 c. powdered sugar + some for dredging
1/4 c. bourbon
2 T. light corn syrup
1 c. broken pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Crush vanilla wafers with rolling pin or in a food processor (sometimes you can find them in the store). Sift together cocoa and the 1 cup powdered sugar In large bowl, mix bourbon and corn syrup. Add the sugar/cocoa mixture, then the vanilla wafers. Mix together. Roll into small balls. Dredge in powdered sugar. They improve with age (not years but several days.)
