Dough:
1 egg
1 egg white
3/4 c. milk
2 c. flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Filling:
Add 2 egg yolks to a pint of cottage cheese and salt (1 tsp.) and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg and egg white with milk and add dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Stir or knead to make a medium soft dough. It should not be sticky when done. a little more flour may be added if necessary.
Roll out as pie dough.
Put rounded tablespoons of cottage cheese mixture in a row on dough.
Fold dough over cheese mounds and cut each in half moon shape. Press edges togetrher wtih fingers. Edges may be moistened to make sure they stick.
Drop vrenicke into boiling water and boil about 5 minutes.
They will float when done.
You may brown leftovers.
