2 C. sugar
2 C. light Karo
1/2 C. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 C. Carnation evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, salt and butter over medium heat until clear. Stir milk in gradually. Cook until firm ball when dropped in water. Stir constantly. Add vanilla & nuts. Pour into buttered 9X13" pan. When candy cools, cut into bite size pieces and wrap in waxed paper.
