2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup soft butter or marg
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Cream egg, sugar and marg. Add molasses. Mix dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture. Form into balls, roll in sugar. Placed on parchment lined cookie sheets. Do not flatten.
Bake at 350º for 12 - 15 minutes

This recipe can be doubled or tripled easily. It is one of my kids favorites and I think the grandchildren like them too.
