3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. instant coffee
1 c. butter
1 1/4 brown sugar
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
3 tbsp. cherry juice
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg
1 tbsp. cream

Directions:
Directions:
sift flour, soda, ginger, instant coffee together. Cream 1 c. butter, 1 1/4 c. brown sugar, corn syrup, egg and cream. Add dry ingredients. Mix well and roll dough 1/3 at a time. 1/8 inches cutting rounds in ungreased cookie sheet. 1/2 tsp. in center of filling. Fold side and place cherry at end that's open. Filling: combine 1/3 c. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. butter, 3 tbsp. cherry juice, 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts. Bake on 350º for 12-15 minutes.
