10 oz thickly pounded slices of young leg of veal.
1 tsp. each rosemary, oregano, and thyme
1 cup chopped green onions
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
salt and pepper
3 oz white wine or dry Sherry
1-2 tbsp Olive oil.

Directions:
Directions:
Cover bottom of skillet with olive oil.
Dust veal with flour and fry until golden brown on both sides.
Add spices, salt, pepper, onions, and mushrooms.
Saute 10 minutes.
Drain oil from skillet.
Add wine and simmer for 20 additional minutes.

A favorite recipe from Veneto's restaurant in SF. This restaurant was located above Fisherman's Wharf. It had a gondola between the bar and eating area. We celebrated many family birthdays here and loved to sit in the doll room where antique dolls looked at us from shelves above the tables.
