1/2 C. sliced almonds
3 T. sugar
1/2 head lettuce (Iceberg)
1/2 head lettuce (Romaine)
1 C. celery
2 chopped green onions
1 - 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained

Dressing:
1/2 tsp. salt, pepper
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1 T. parsley
2 T. sugar
2 T. vinegar
Dash Tabasco

Directions:
Directions:
Cook almonds and sugar, medium heat, stirring constantly til almonds are coated and sugar dissolved. Cool, store in air-tight container. Mix dressing ingredients and chill. Mix lettuce, celery, onions. Just before serving add almonds and oranges and lettuce. Toss with dressing.
