CAKE:
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 t Baking soda
TOPPING:
3/4 cup sugar
1 stick of butter
1 1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup coconut flakes
1 cup chopped pecans

CAKE: Mix all ingredients together, pour into greased
9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350º for about 40 minutes. Poke holes in cake with a fork to let topping seep in.
TOPPING: Start cooking topping about 5 minutes before cake comes out of the oven. Melt butter, then add sugar and evaporated milk. Cook about 5 minutes, stir constantly bringing to a boil. Pour over cake while it is still hot. It will look like you are ruining the cake, but pour all the mixture over cake. Spread coconut and pecans on top, patting down.
