Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 package Romaine Lettuce, torn in pieces
1 large or 1 ½ Pints fresh Strawberries, sliced
½ Medium Red Onion, sliced thin. (I’ve used regular yellow onion)

Dressing
¾ cup Mayonnaise, can use light or fat free( do not use Miracle whip)
5 Tbls. Sugar
1 tsp Poppy Seeds
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
1/3 cup Whipping Cream (can use heavy cream or evaporated skim milk)
1 tsp Lemon Juice
½ cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans ( optional, I don’t use these)

Directions:
Directions:
Layer lettuce, strawberries & onion in bowl (top layer strawberries), cover tightly & refrigerate about 3 hours, or overnight.

Mix all dressing ingredients & refrigerate.
Just before serving may pour over salad (toss well), or serve on the side
