2 T. traditional yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar

1 c. oil or melted lard
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. salt
3 c. warm water
2-3 eggs, beaten

8-10 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. In 2 c. measuring cup mix first three ingredients, let stand 10 min.
2. In large bowl mix next five ingredients, then yeast mixture when ready.
3. Slowly add enough flour to make a soft dough. (I whip the first 5 c. with a large whisk to get out lumps).
4. Pat dough with oil.
5.Cover and let rise in a warm spot 15 min.
6. Punch down.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 three more times (four in all).
8. After fourth punch down form into 48 buns, 2 pans of 24.
9. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
10. Bake @ 350º F. for 20 mins. Repeat for second pan.
11. Remove from oven and brush with milk to which a little sugar has been added.
