3/4 c. butter
onion (as much as you like)
1 c. flour
3 c. hot water
2 tbsp. chicken granules
3 1/2 c. milk
1/2 pound Velveeta cheese
16 oz frozen broccoli (let it thaw out before you start)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Melt butter, add onion and broccoli and saute for 10 minutes. Add flour and mix. Add water and granules stir until thickened. Add milk and cheese and let it all melt together.

Original recipe calls for frozen broccoli which is fine. I like to steam fresh broccoli and use it.
