7 c. water
1 lb. great northern beans
2 c. chopped ham
2 tbls. bacon grease
1 small chopped onion
1 carrot, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
dash garlic pepper
1 can tomato soup

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight. Drain and add 7 c. water and remainder of ingredients. Simmer all day.

This soup is delicious with corn bread and warms the tummy on a cold day. The recipe comes from Wolf's Tavern in Henderson.
