Directions:
Boil water and gently place noodles in for a few seconds and drain. Then, subtly place the noodles in cold water for a few seconds and drain completely. Repeat these steps several times and check the noodle's moist level. Coat a pan with vegetable oil and start to saute onions and garlic on high heat. Finally, add the shrimp and chicken. The cook must test the flavor before serving for additional spices.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Since chow mein is not a traditional main course in my family, we treat it like turkey on Thanksgiving. It's the type of dish that you can eat every season. Eating it on a cold day with a hot bowl of soup will be extremely tasty and it warms you up. Eating chow mein while it is fresh out of the kitchen is the best because it's extremely flavorful when it's hot. This is a homemade style dish so there less oil than restaurant’s chow mein.
