1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, and egg. Add other ingredients. Line muffin tin with muffin liners. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. In two separate bowls put 1 cube melted butter and then 1/2 c. sugar with 1 Tbsp. cinnamon stirred together. When muffins are finished dip first in butter and then in cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy!

My mom use to make these all the time when we were growing up, her grandma Lily Sorenson was where the recipe came from and that is where they get there name. They are a family favorite at our house.
