1 can of sliced pineapple (save the juice)
3 tbl butter
1/2 c brown sugar
cherries
1/3 c butter
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 3 tbl butter in the bottom of pan, add brown sugar arrange pineapple slices with the cherries in the middle, in the brown sugar and melted butter

Cream butter and sugar add egg,vanilla, flour,salt and baking powder...Add water to pineapple juice to make 1/2 cup...add to dry ingredients and mix well...Pour batter over pineapple and cherries..
Bake at 350º about 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
