2 cans cherry pie filling
1 chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter OR 1/2 c. water mixed with 1/4 c.oil
coconut and/or chopped pecans

Spread pie filling in 9x13" cake pan. Top with cake mix. Melt butter and pour over cake. Add chopped pecans or coconut (or both), if desired. Bake at 350º for 30 - 40 minutes until brown and done in the middle.

Using oil & water instead of butter is a healthier version. You can also use "lite" pie filling. Try other fillings and mixes such as apple filling with spice cake or blueberry or cherry filling with white or yellow cake.
