Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp crisco
1 cup milk
1 bottle lemon extract or anise extract
4 heaping tbsp baking powder
4 1/2 to 5 cups of flour add more if needed

Directions:
Mix sugar in eggs in mixing bowl until well blended

In a separate bowl add butter and crisco microwave until melted

add milk to butter and crisco add lemon extract and baking powder..

add to egg and sugar mixture

Add flour a cup at a time keep adding until dough doesn't stick to your hands..

roll about a tbsp into a log and then tie in a knot..Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet until brown on the bottom.....cool then frost with icing made from 1 lb of confectionery sugar, lemon extract and milk,,,make icing runny, add sprinkles of your choice

Bake cookies at 350
