11/2 cups raisins and 1 cup of water, boil 5 min.
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. flour

Directions:
Boil raisins in water, let cool. Mix butter, sugar, eggs together till creamy. Add raisins and water mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by tbsp.on cookie sheet,leaving room to spread. Bake at 350º for 10 min.
