4 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo syrup (light)
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups pecans (cut in two, if to large)
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs & add sugar. Then add Karo syrup, butter, pecans, salt & vanilla. Pour into 2 uncooked pie shells. Bake @ 350 for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

One evening while visiting Fran & her family at Liberty Hall, Fran's Mother had a lovely dinner & this pecan pie recipe. Being a "Yankee", I just had to have this recipe to be able to prepare when I went home. P.S. I hope Fran's Mother doesn't mind me sharing this recipe?
