2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 ½ tsp of ground cinnamon
½ cup butter or margarine
1 cups walnuts chopped
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese softened
2 tbsp milk
1 egg beaten
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp vanilla
3 ½ cups chopped peeled apples

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, brown sugar & cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add nuts. Measure out 2 coups of crumbs mixture and set aside. Press remaining mixture in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Beat cream cheese & milk until smooth. Mix in egg, sugar & vanilla. Pour over crust. Top with apples & sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve warm or refrigerate until serving time. Makes 12-15 servings. Tastes great warm with ice cream
