1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup butter
2 Tbs.light corn syrup
12 slices of bread
1 Tsp.cinnamon (divided)
½ cup sugar
6 eggs
1½ cups milk
1 Tsp. vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
In a small sauce pan, over medium heat, bring brown sugar, corn syrup and butter to a boil. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and pour into greased 9 X 13 pan. Top with 6 slices of bread. Combine sugar and ½ tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle half of the mixture over the bread. Place remaining bread on top and sprinkle the remaining sugar mixture over it. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and ½ tsp. cinnamon. Pour over the bread and chill overnight.

Remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes.

Bread should be light brown and the eggs should be solid. Check it at 35 minutes and go from there
