2 pkgs. of crescent rolls
2 Granny Smith or Fuji Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into 8 slices each
1 1/4 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 1/2 Sticks butter
1 can Mountain Dew

Directions:
Directions:
Unroll Crescent rolls, roll flap over apple and crimp sides, place in 9 x 13 pan. Boil butter, sugar, and cinnamon until sugar dissolves. Add Mountain Dew. Pour over rolls and bake at 350º for 35 minutes. You might stop half thru baking time and spoon some of the juice over the "dumplings".
As it cools, the juice will be mostly absorbed into the pastry.
