1 lb. butter
1-1/2 tsp. cloves
1 lb. brown sugar (dark)
1/2 c. white sugar
3 eggs
2/3 c. dark molasses
6 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. ginger
3 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs & beat. Add molasses, fold in flour, spices, salt, baking soda, & baking powder. Drop by tsp. into dish of sugar. Roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375º for 8 minutes. Put dough to be baked in freezer while waiting for current batch to bake.
