1 1/2 lbs. thinly sliced round steak
1/4 tsp. salt
dash pepper
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 can Swanson beef broth
1/3 c. water
3 T. flour
1/2 c. sour cream
dash nutmeg (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut beef into thin strips (against the grain). Sprinkle with seasonings. Melt butter in skillet and add meat. Brown. Add broth, cover. Simmer 1 hour. Gradually blend water into flour. Mix well and slowly pour mix into meat and broth. Stir until thick. Add sour cream and heat though. Add nutmeg if desired (I don't use it). Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
