1 c. butter (softened)
1/2 c. icing sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
candied cherries (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Beat all ingredients together until light and fluffy. With teaspoon, drop dough on cookie sheet. If you would like (and I do) place a 1/2 cherry on the top of dough and press down a little.

Bake at 325 for 20 minutes.
