sweet roll dough: dissolve 2 pkgs of dry active yeast in 1/2 cup warm ( 105 degrees to 115) Scald 1/2 cup milk & let cool. Mix together cooled milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp salt, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup shortening or soft butter or marg. Stir into the yeast mix with 2 1/2 cups Flour. Beat until smooth and dough is easy to handle. Turn dough on a lightly floured board: knead until smooth and elastic-about 5 mins. Place in a greased bowl, turned greased side up cover with towel, or refrig.. . for 3 to 4 days. Let rise in warm place until double in size, about 1 1/2 hoursl. Dough is ready if impression remains when touched. Roll out dough in rectangle, long. cover with butter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar,1/2 cup pieces of pecans 2 tsp of cinnamon,1/4 cup sugar. Roll dough up long ways pinch sides closed, cut into about 15 slices. In lg baking pan melt stick of butter and and cin/pecan/sugar mix on bottom of pan and set the cut slices down on top of mixture. Let rise again double in size, then bake 25 to 30 mins. in 375 degree oven/
