One frozen 9" unbaked pie crust
1 cup of light corn syrup
1 cup of firmly packed dark brown sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 cup of butter, melted
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 heaping cup of pecan halves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large bowl, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla, mix well. Pour filling into the pie crust, sprinkle with pecan halves
Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the pie comes out clean. If crust is getting too brown, cover pie with tin foil until it is cooked,

I just love pecan pie, love it, so this is one of my favourite recipes. Don't melt the butter too much, just put it in the microwave on high for about 10 seconds at a time, until it is liquidy. I've heard that nuts are good for you so this pie must be really good because it has pecans. love Aunt Judy xo
